Competition winners, Puddleduck Preschool, make a splash with easyfundraising!

We recently gave all Pre-school Learning Alliance settings the chance to win a £100 Clarks shoes voucher in prize draw competition.

To enter, all the settings needed to do was raise money through easyfundraising between 8th September 2014 and 31st October 2014.

Puddleduck Preschool, a pre-school in Clyst Hydon, Devon, was picked as our lucky winner!

So far Puddleduck Preschool has raised £317 through easyfundraising!

Puddleduck Manager, Andrea Gambie, told us:

“It is hard to believe you can raise money for charity with so little effort. We are a small, rural pre-school that relies heavily on fundraising. easyfundraising has been fantastic.”

Andrea’s tips for raising money through easyfundraising

“We advertise [easyfundraising] in our pre-school newsletter and the local village newspaper. We have given out reminder cards to parents in their child’s tray – they were great because they explain simply how to sign up. We also used the template email to send to all my contacts to try and get more supporters.

I have also used the leaflets you can print off.  We are going to add easyfundraising to our website soon.”

Christmas is the prime time to raise more!

Andrea’s advice is to:

“Remind all parents in the run up to Christmas that while they are doing all their Christmas shopping they could be raising money for [the setting]. We will also be putting leaflets on the table at the Christmas fair.”

Use our handy tool to boost your donations!

Together with Pre-school Learning Alliance, we’ve created a tool especially for pre-schools, nurseries and childcare groups, designed to reach out to parents to ask for their support on easyfundraising. Download it for free!

Putting the prize to good use

Puddleduck Manager, Andrea Gambie, told us she’ll be raffling off the voucher at the Christmas fair to raise even more money for the pre-school.

Good luck with all your fundraising efforts, Andrea!
