Acorns Children’s Hospice have been our charity of the year. We’ve been practising what we preach and fundraising for them at the easyfundraising HQ. They do a vital job in providing care for babies, children and young people whose lives are limited because of health conditions.
To raise funds staff shopped online and collected donations on everything from our weekly shop and fashion to buying insurance and booking our holidays and more. Plus we bought all the supplies for the office through our website; stationery, train tickets, furniture – you name it, we bought it!
Over the year we held a few fundraising events including a bake off (it got competitive!), we dressed up in our scariest costumes on Halloween, played bingo on the bus and held the 12 challenges of Christmas.
It’s all been worth it and staff raised a phenomenal £1,417 over the last year. But that wasn’t all, easyfundraising founder Ian Woodroffe kindly doubled the amount to £2,834!
Our lovely Account Manager Tom popped over and gave them the cheque.
