Happy New Year! It’s 2012 and we’re thinking about new year resolutions – making them and trying not to break them. A quick poll in the office found that most of the easyfundraising team are resolving to eat more healthily, exercise more and give up our vices (errr, not that we have many of course!)

Great competition. My healthy eating plans works as son as the shops stop selling reduced Christmas biscuits and chocolate!
I’ve resolved to keep in better contact with my friends.
Now that so many of us use text and email rather than picking up the phone or visiting, its too easy to think “I’ll reply to that later” then forget about it.
So, in 2012, I’m going to respond to texts and emails as soon as I get them, and make a special effort to phone people for a general chit-chat.
I would like to eat healthier, cook more meals instead of having easy microwave meals. Make more of my own bread and generally be a lot more energetic and fitter.
My resolution is to spend less time on organised activities and leave more time for ‘going with the flow’. Retirement should be fun – so I need to find fun ways to lose weight!!
i’am goin to do wats on my to do list instead of just writing endless list that depress me. i’am goin to lose 3 stone, stop kidding myself that iam ok as i am.
spend more time doing fun things
I resolve to loose the 15 kg I gained over the past 9 months – and then take the best care I can of the little baby that comes out of it
I need to get a grip on my snacking as the medication I’m on means I put on weight. So, healthy snacks and generally eating less in 2012!

My resolution is to stop worrying about the small stuff & enjoy life more.
I have ‘volunteered’ to do a 5 mile charity fun run in the new Olympic Park on the 31st March….I can’t run for a bus at the moment …so I have bought new trainers today and the running starts here!!
Not to waste time, drink less Earl Grey tea and more water and make exercise a top priority!
Going completely animal-free!! In my diet that is!!
Great ideas and recipes on our website it’ll be the best thing for me, the environment and of course the animals
I am going to try and stop spending money on things that I don’t need and try and save for more weekends away with my friends, with 2 young children a bit of “me” time is very important.
To lose a couple of lbs each month, which will add up to over a stone and a half by the end of the year.
My New Years Resolution is to spend time each weekend with one of my three kids (in turns though!), cooking a meal for the family together. They love it when we cook together and lately life has been so busy and always rush, rush, rush. Cooking together is great quality one to one time with Mum.
My new years resolution for 2012 is to lose weight properly and keep it off. My first baby is due in 6 weeks time and I will have baby weight to lose as well as the fact I was overweight before getting pregnant. I have also made a resolution to find a sport or form of exercise I enjoy and do it 3 times a week to boost my fitness and weight loss.
This year I will not procrastinate…….well maybe….
My new years resolution is to make this year count. I’m going to stop talking about making a change and actually do it. I want to look after myself better, to enjoy being me more and to be my best.
My resolution is to stop worrying about my weight and to put that energy jnto losing it. Positive actions and changes instead of negative thoughts about failure.
Every tall mountain is conquered one step at a time so here is the first step,
As a carer for my wee daugher who has a number of conditions it is easy to ignore your own health and well being. Well in 2012 my resolution is to make sure to eek about a bit of time to get fitter and healthier
I am going back out to Belarus in the summer to spend two weeks working with disabled children living in institutions. My new years resoloution is to get fit enough to be able to dance for two hours every night with the kids at the discos. I also want to raise money for Chernobyl Children’s Project (who I travel out there with) by taking part in a team effort to complete the distance in miles from our local city to Gomel on bikes, treadmill and in the pool – fitness required!
I started kickboxing for beginners tonight and the healthy diet starts next week when i’ve eaten all the junk food left in the house!
I am resolving to beat the misery that is OCD that has plagued me for the last two years, it came out of nowhere and that’s where I want it to go back to!! Because I have suffered with it, I have been more anxious and have done less meaning that I have slowly put on weight and don’t really feel myself, I want to get my life back!
Get fit lose weight look in the mirror everyday to remind me what what I really look like !

I’ve resolved to improve on my healthy eating programme and find some way to add some sort of excercise despite long term illness!
To take better care of myself
Little by little that naughty weight has popped on, now it needs to pop off. Also my daughter is on steroids so has put a little on, so 2 for the price of 1!
Getting ready to start my family!
I resolve to get super healthy in preporation to hopefully having our first child this year and giving it the best start in life.

I hope to find the willpower to lose the baby weight I put on 12 years ago, 8 years ago and Oh yes and 22 months ago!!
I hope to finish my accounting qualification and lose all the weight I’ve put on in the last 4 years, also become an Avon Advanced Sales leader (one level up from where i am).
I also want to raise the most money for GSP Rescue Services, so far I’m winning but we are only at day 3.
good luck to everyone with their resolutions and plans for 2012, lets make it the best year ever.
In June last year, I turned 39, and resolved to hug every single person I know before I hit the big 4-0. Half the year has gone, so my resolution is to finish the job – which will involve going to places like the States, Canada, Hawaii and New Zealand, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden and all over England, Wales and Scotland!
If I can lose weight while doing it, so much the better – but my main target health-wise is to give up the evil weed. Eek!
To put my best foot forward and keeping going as walking is good excercise!.
Mine is to be a better me.
I need to lose about 2 stone, and I need to be a more efficient housewife so I can spend more time playing with my kiddies before they grow up!!
Those mince pies, christmas cake, shortbread and sweets seem endless! THEY HAVE TO GO now. I’ve set a target to lose at least 2 stones this year – and I may yet surprise myself and exceed my dreams! Maybe with Weightwatchers support I could do just that. Do you think I’m too old at 65 to be setting myself goals? I know I can’t do it on my own…..
2012 – leap year and I’m a single female
3 new year resolutions for me – lose 14lbs, keep Monday’s free for whatever I feel like on the day and get my first putt past the hole!
To get myself fitter and heathier. To enjoy life to the full .To continue raising awareness to animals in need.
Just seen The War Horse, brilliant, but what a pity no one put a collection box for horses who are in sanctuaries or in need,in the cinema.
Their grandparent horses served our country with courage.
Easy fund raising is the easy way of giving .Do it!!
My new year resolution is to lose a stone by the autumn ready for my daughter’s wedding in December.
Loose weight and be healthier
Stop biting my nails!
I hope to start a detox in a kick start to a healthier diet – in a bid to loose weight and beome a healthier person as Im always feeling tired.
To breathe deeply, count to ten when something upsets me – no matter what it is.
To think of at least 1 or 2 positive things each morning to help me stay motivated through each day.
To remember to tell someone when I have appreciated what they have done.
To smile/laugh often because it makes me feel better and releases the “dolphins” mmm endorphins – but I like dolphins better!
To give someone one of my smiles when it seems they may have lost their own.
Try and believe my glass is half full every day
