You did it! Together you’ve raised over £4million!

That’s now over £4million raised for good causes by thousands of supporters across the UK. What a huge achievement! It just shows how much can be raised for free, simply by shopping online via easyfundraising.org.uk. A big well done to everyone that has helped raise so much!

And the winners are….

As promised we offered all supporters the chance to win one of 2 x £100 donations for their good cause, to celebrate the donation milestone.

The first £100 donation up for grabs was for the person who guessed the closest to the exact date and time that the £4million donation mark would be reached. And we can tell you that the winner is……

Keith Dawson supporting TAME Community First Responders

Keith guessed the date and time of 19.30 on 31st October was just 35 seconds away from the exact time £4million was raised which was 19:30:35 on 31st October 2012.

The second was the big one!

The supporter whose transaction tipped the £4million mark is……

Roger Verrall supporting St Mary’s Church – Banbury who raised £1.27 with Marks & Spencer at 19:30:35 on 31st Oct 2012.

“It’s amazing to see a child having so much fun, with their parents knowing they’re in safe hands while they get some much needed time to themselves, or getting that bit of time to spend with their other children. It costs Link Leisure around £89 to support a child with learning disabilities who needs one to one supervision at one of their Playscheme, so every penny really does count!” Jo, supporting Link Leisure

“We are raising money to bring Kenyan students over to our three link schools. They will never have been on a plane before so it will be a life changing experience for them. Our children then go over and help in the village, but they finance themselves as three schools. Brathay Trust’s core aim is to work with some of the most vulnerable and hard to reach children and young adults in our country. The economy has hit our young people with high unemployment, lack of opportunities, reduced funding & our poorest families are even poorer. This type of unrestricted income is a fantastic boost, if it funds 1-3 opportunities to influence a vulnerable youth’s life forever it is worth its weight in gold. That’s why we love easyfundraising.org.uk, it’s free for supporters, we can engage our staff, it gets the message out there in so many ways. We know we do fantastic work we just need money like this to do it.” Tori, supporting Brathay Trust
