About Action for Southern Africa Wales (Cymru ACTSA)

ACTSA, formerly Wales Anti Apartheid, formed after Apartheid fell in 1994. It works to raise funds to support charitable projects in South Africa, the reduction of poverty, advancement of education, health projects and the fight against HIV-AIDS. We are a charity and work with groups from all walks of life and non-racist organisations. In 1999 an autographed Manchester United football was auctioned for £25,000 in SA for health. We have no paid officials, so all funds go to good causes.
