About Amica Pregnancy Crisis Centre
Amica Pregnancy Crisis Centre is a registered Scottish Charity SC028353. Our centre in Edinburgh opened in May 2000, providing a safe space for women and men struggling with unplanned pregnancy and/or pregnancy loss to seek information and support. We are affiliated to CareConfidential - a national charity which provides a free phone helpline, online support and training for the network of 150 centres across the UK, as well as training for charities providing pregnancy crisis and pregnancy loss support overseas. Amica offers pregnancy testing, pregnancy crisis counselling, post-miscarriage and post-abortion support programmes, maternity and baby clothes (up to 6 months). Amica also provide teenage education programmes for S3-S6 pupils on unplanned pregnancy that dovetails into the Scottish SHARE curriculum & Curriculum for Excellence.
