About Animal SOS Sri Lanka
We are a UK registered charitable organisation working to alleviate the widespread suffering of animals in Sri Lanka. Thousands of destitute animals roam Sri Lanka suffering and dying in agony from disease, starvation, cruelty, neglect, and horrific injuries sustained on the roads. For these desperate animals every day is a struggle for survival. Our vision is to work together with government and local communities to promote change. We will through our clinics of excellence provide the following: Veterinary treatment and rehabilitation; Wound management; Rescue, refuge, fostering and re-homing; Sterilisation and other surgical procedures; Parasite Control; Vaccinations; Blood testing services; Treatment of tropical diseases; Education and training. Working with UK and Sri Lankan partnerships and support, we will through our work give additional quality of life to both humans and animals in Sri Lanka to be enjoyed by all future generations.
