For more than thirty years the Museum has sought to conserve and celebrate the buildings, traditions and people which gave the world its first industrial landscape.

Through its 26-acre site near Dudley in the West Midlands, the Museum uses its collections and historically authentic exhibits to bring the story of the Black Country to life in a way which allows 300,000 annual visitors to learn about the area’s history as ‘the workshop of the world’ and its international significance.
