About Bloco Ashe Bury Samba Band
Bloco Ashe is a percussive band playing samba influenced grooves and global beats from Brazil, Cuba & Africa in Bury. Our aim is to promote, support and develop percussion-based music and related carnival arts in our local community. Membership at Bloco Ashe is open to anyone aged 11 years and over. Each individual makes Bloco Ashe a true community group, it welcomes anyone who wants to participate in and experience the joy of music making – without needing any previous musical experience.
