About Bolton ICD Support Group

Support Group for Patients with ICD's (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) & Carers in the Bolton Community. Established in 2006, the group meets on the last Thursday of March, June, September and November. Aims and Objectives* To guide patients towards a support network that will enable them to access information and advice* Provide a forum for patients, carers, families and friends to meet and share experiences* Provide educational materials and standardised medical* Raise awareness* Aim to raise funds to purchase AED's for local schools and sports clubs.
