About Crossroads Care Cheshire West and Wirral
Cheshire West and Wirral Crossroads Caring for Carers is a specialist voluntary organisation providing practical and emotional support to carers and people with care needs in their own homes and in the community. A Carer is someone who without payment provides help and support to a partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability. Caring can be very stressful and if support is not available, the situation can reach crisis point and even result in the break up of the family. By providing this valuable type of respite service, Crossroads enables Carers to continue caring for as long as they wish or are able to do so.
