About Butterfly Children's Hospices

A Children's Hospice China's first community palliative care service Butterfly Homes provide specialist children's palliative care services for abandoned children and a community care service to families, aiming to support them and therefore avoid the pressure to abandon their sick baby/child. What's it all about? "Those with white hair should die first" Unfortunately, in real life this is not always the case, and there are children throughout China, with incurable illnesses, who need the support of dedicated hospice care to see that their last days are spent in a comfortable, loving and supportive environment. BUT it's not all bad news! Many of the children we care for do not have life limiting illness and all they need is love and good care or surgery.
