About Crowland Community Playgroup
Crowland Community Playgroup is a Community Playgroup run by a committee made up of parents and staff. We are LEA registered, OFSTED inspected, and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. A non-profit organisation, it is a registered charity run by the Committee. Today, it has more than 40 children in its care.
Playgroup was established in 1968, cares for children from two until they start school. It has a team of three dedicated and qualified full-time staff members who themselves have sent their children to Playgroup in the past.
The organisation, which survives solely on fund-raising and generous donations, is organising some ambitious fundraising initiatives this year.
