About Friends of Rye Meadows
Friends of Rye Meadows is a group supporting the restoratioin of the meadows along the Rye Brook in Ashtead, Surrey, creating a wetland habitat, re-creating river meanders, building ponds and scrapes, creating new habitats for important species, planting hedges and trees indigenous to the area, and enhancing the site for nesting birds. In addition we are creating a Jubilee Woodland and are planting several hundred trees.
