About The Glamorgan Bird Club
The Glamorgan Bird Club is dedicated to the study and conservation of the bird life in this part of South Wales. The membership ranges from beginners and back-garden birdwatchers to those who are professionally involved in conservation, all sharing an enjoyment of birds. The club runs a full program of indoor meetings and field trips.
Every year we publish a Report of the status of bird species in East Glamorgan. Other publications include a quarterly newsletter, local avifauna, and Birding in Glamorgan, a guide to the best sites to watch birds in our area. We support national surveys, primarily those run by the British Trust for Ornithology, to which we are affiliated.
