About Guildford Choral Society
The purpose of GCS is to promote the advancement and improvement of general education in relation to all aspects of the art of choral music and the development of the public appreciation of such art.GCS does this through organising and promoting public concerts of major choral works to be performed by members of the society alongside world-class orchestras and soloists. Rehearsals and choral workshop days are used to prepare singers for the concerts and encourage an understanding of the music and the development of singing skills in individuals.
