About Home-Start South Holland
Home-Start supports families who are finding it difficult to cope with the stresses of bringing up a young family. Trained volunteers visit families in their own homes. They offer time, friendship and help with the everyday difficulties that parents with young children face. Support is available to any parent or carer with at least one child under 5. A registered charity, Home-Start UK was established in 1973. The South Holland scheme, based in Lincolnshire, is a \'start-up\' scheme and during 2010 and beyond will begin supporting families in the South Holland areas.
