About Kincardine and Mearns Citizens Advice Bureau

Offers free, confidential, impartial and independant advice to the people of Kincardine and Mearns (from Portlethan to the borders of Angus). Recently passed stringent audit and awarded full CAB status. KAMCAB is a small town based office in Stonehaven with three paid staff, two part time (includes manager) and one full time Welfare Benefits Officer and 24 volunteers. Mainly rural area with many people currently unable to access the office in person/daytime. We would like to offer an evening session where volunteers will provide advice to those who cannot attend during daytime or at all (unless by phone). To do this, we need to find funds for additional phone lines, ongoing costs of these, management and administration costs and the additional premises costs. We need your help to make this happen. Our daytime service is fully used and members of the public have expressed an interest in this type of expansion of the service (another daytime session would not meet their needs).
