About MKC Trust - Roko Cancer Campaign
To introduce ourselves we are a registered charity working to create awareness and increase early detection of Breast Cancer among the women living in the semi urban and rural areas of India. We provide free mammograms and ultrasound scans to women in our detection camps with the results on the spot. According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer’ there were approximately 79,000 women per year affected by breast cancer in India in 2001, over 80,000 women in 2002. Each year 80,000 women in India get breast cancer leading to 30,000 deaths.
