About Northcote Heavy Horse Centre
The centre was set up in 1988 to care for retired horses and those with special requirements and it became a registered charity (no:1137340) in August 2010. Many themed fundraising events are put on throughout the year including Medieval, Halloween, Adopters Day and new for 2011 A Summer Fete and 1940's Dinner and Dance. Based in Spilsby, Lincolnshire the centre is run entirely by volunteer helpers, some of whom travel hundreds of miles to help when they can. The horses are also available to attend shows away from home whether it be a themed event or just a meet and greet. Please see the website for contact details. www.northcotehorses.com.
