The Saltpond Education Project is a small UK-based volunteer organisation, which is currently in the middle of an ongoing venture to build and run a free primary school for the impoverished children of Saltpond, a fishing town in Ghana, West Africa. Upon completion of the S.E.P Happy Home School (and in addition to maintaining and developing it), the S.E.P. will work alongside local residents and children to develop literacy and a love of reading in the Central Region and beyond.
