About Soldiers League

The Aim of Soldiers League The aim of Soldiers League is to provide Army personnel with opportunities to develop discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being through Rugby League. Our goal is the all-round development of military people not just rugby players. Rugby League embodies everything we expect from a soldier helping them develop life skills that extend beyond the game. We at Soldiers League pride ourselves in our support of charities, both financially and in helping them raise their profiles. Many of our Soldiers League supporters are also active supporters and we try to support all of our recognized affiliated charities in any way possible. Soldiers-League was organised as a members club whose main purpose is to financially support soldiers in playing rugby league for the British Army. Donations are made directly to the Soldiers-League Account so that they may use the funds across the four representative teams; financing playing strip and equipment purchases for example. Secondary to that is the desire to share the funds in supporting servicemen and women with their recovery from battlefield or service injuries. This may materialise through a donation directly to an appropriate service charities (such as BLESMA, Combat Stress (Battleshock)and the British Legion) or by an allocation directly from a trustee board decision. We aim to attract new members, civilian and serving, on a global network, keep existing members updated on news, events, and the progress of the Army Rugby League sides in all competitions. To join this exclusive group of enthusiasts the Soldiers League joining pro forma and bank mandate instructions can be found on the information tab of the website and are in the documents section for anyone wishing to make themselves a member or just to offer support to the 'Soldiers League' and the affiliated charities please contact Soldiers_League@yahoo.com We are at the moment currently working hard towards gaining charitable status hopefully by the summer of 2015

"There's quite a few sites similar to easyfundraising. But where this site stands out is it's helpful & quick replies to queries. It is so easy to set up an account & to start saving for a good cause - I've recommended easyfundraising to a lot of my friends, and they're as impressed as I am with the ease of how it works."

"I run a not for profit Community Interest Company and shared our cause. Very easy to use, templates ready to share on social media, with direct links to our page and pop up reminders installed for when I was shopping with numerous websites, where I could gain the free donation. Excellent service and a fabulous idea."
