About Stevenage Haven
Stevenage Haven exists to provide single homeless people in Stevenage and the surrounding areas with emergency accommodation and the means to move forward into secure settled lifestyles within our community.
Stevenage Haven provides:
(1) An emergency homeless hostel, Chris Foster House, operating 24 x 7 for 14 men and 4 women aged 16 and above. Day services are also avaialable to ex-residents.
(2) 17 units of move on accommodation for hostel residents provided in partnership with Stevenage Borough Council, North Herts Homes and Steveange Consolidated Charities.
(3) Floating support services for ex-residents of the hostel. Support workers provide proactive support to clients in their own homes helping them deal with problems which might otherwise threaten their tenancies.
