About Tarland & Mid Deeside Community First Responders
Tarland & Mid Deeside Community First Responders are a completely self funding organisation, who are trained by Scottish Ambulance Service to use a defibrillator, and provide basic life support where there is a likely delay in the arrival of an ambulance, due mainly to our rural locations. We are all volunteers, and have to pay for our training, clothing and equipment, and we provide another way to reach patients within the crucial 8 minute period necessary to save life.
