About Voluntary Action Maidstone

Voluntary Action Maidstone is a local charity serving people who live in the Borough. It’s core activities are a Volunteer Centre which provides a brokerage service for people wanting to volunteer and those organisations requiring volunteers. It is also a Council for Voluntary Service and provides support, advice and capacity building to existing and developing, voluntary and community organisations. Various projects have developed through a need identified by the community, providing services for older people, people with mental health problems, those with a disability on low incomes, people recovering from drug and alcohol misuse and those rehabilitating in the community after prison or a youth offending service.
