About Visual Arts Scotland

Visual Arts Scotland is an organisation for the exhibition and promotion of artists in Scotland. With a membership of over 450 ranging from established figures to recent graduates and emerging artists we bring together both fine and applied artists from across the country and beyond, to promote the quality and diversity of the arts in Scotland. VAS is one of the few organisations that actively promotes and exhibits the work of contemporary visual and applied artists. It is the only multi-disciplinary platform where painters, sculptors, photographers, jewellers, textile, stone and woodwork artists exhibit together. VAS is also committed to the involvement of young people in the arts, and aims to develop new audiences, and encourage participation in the arts by the next generation.
