Each youngster receives tuition in reading music and instrumental tuition every week throughout the year. The highlight of the year is to compete against like-minded groups in a league (much like a football league) and gain marks to be rated in that league, culminating in a big final at the end of the season in October. The band is also engaged regularly in local fetes and parades. Upward Mobility runs a variety of workshops for people with learning disabilities. Sessions are also available for individuals on a one to one basis. We have workshops for Music, Creative Movement, Creative Art, Digital Photography, Animation and Drama. In addition, our Greenseeds Project is concept based on Healthy Living within the local community and is centred around community garden projects.
