easyfundraising takes the hassle out of fundraising by providing you with a FREE shopping directory for your supporters to use when they shop online.
Some of the UK's best-known retailers are participating in the easyfundraising programme and as soon as your Charity, Trust, Organisation, Sports Club or Team, School or PTA, Pre-school, Community Group, good cause or sponsored event is listed on our site, every time your supporters shop simply by using the links provided you will raise funds.
Internet shopping is becoming increasingly more popular and now accounts for a massive 10% of the UK's total retail spend (set to DOUBLE by 2010 - source IMRG). More than 13m homes now have Broadband access, and 38% of Internet users have shopped online more than 10 times in the last twelve months. An estimated 860m parcels will be shipped to Britain's 30m Internet customers this year, with each shopper spending an average of £1600 online. If typical, one in every two of your supporters now shops online.
easyfundraising provides you with an additional income stream but without your supporters having to make extra donations or contributions. They simply shop online as they would normally.
Our service is quick to set-up, simple to use and takes minimal time and effort to administer. It's also completely FREE - both for you and your supporters. All you have to do is inform your supporters about our site and encourage them to use it whenever they shop online.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does it work? Whenever your supporters 'click-through' to a retailer's website from the easyfundraising site and then make a purchase, the retailer will donate a percentage of the cost of their order, but at no extra cost to the purchaser. Donations range from 0.5 - 15% of the purchase price, or with some categories such as Insurance, a specific cash value. Your supporters shop online as normal and do not pay a penny extra for their transaction.
Why do retailers make free donations? It seems generous, but as the costs associated with 'virtual shopping' are greatly reduced - online there's no shop, heating, electricity, rates, shop-fitting, salesperson and so on - because of this, many retailer are more than happy to help support good causes when a new online customer is introduced to them.
How big do we need to be to use easyfundraising? Anyone can use our service. We work equally with very large and very small organisations.
Do we need to be a registered charity? No.
What will it cost? Absolutely nothing. This is a free service.
What will it cost our members & supporters to use/join? Nothing. There are no joining fees or monthly subscriptions and they can use our site as little or as often as they like to raise funds for you.
Revenue potential The amount you can raise depends on what is purchased - each product has a different donation associated with it. For example a new mobile phone may generate approx £15, a motor insurance policy £35, a new CD or DVD 2% of it's value. Research shows that for every 25 people who actively use this type of service, approx £500 per annum (or more) can be raised for your organisation.
Higher donations As more organisations use us we are able to command higher donations from retailers. Any additional revenue will be re-distributed back to our members, so all organisations/charities will benefit from their 'indirect' involvement with one another and from the 'collective buying power' of the group.
When and how are we paid? When each Quarter finishes all donations are calculated and your statement is posted online. Providing you have raised £15.00 or more payment is made by cheque 30 days later (to allow for any cancellation of goods). If you do not reach this level your amount raised will simply 'carry-over' to the next Quarter. Billing periods are as follows: -
Q1 is from 1 January - 31 March (paid at the end of April) Q2 is from 1 April - 30 June (paid at the end of July) Q3 is from 1 July - 30 September (paid at the end of October) Q4 is from 1 October - 31 December (paid at the end of January)
Administration Area As the Account Administrator, you have exclusive access to the Administration Area, a 'one stop shop', packed full of tools, ideas and advice to help you promote the easyfundraising and easysearch schemes to your supporters. You'll find example wording for your website and supporter communications, website banners, including interactive easysearch banners where your supporters can search and raise funds directly from your own website, flyers, case studies, details of our Referral Programme and more.
Online Reporting The Administration Area also includes all of your important account information such as sales, traffic and payment.

Referral Programme
You can earn extra funds simply by spreading the word. Introduce us to any other charities, groups or good causes and we'll pay you a fantastic 'lifetime' revenue share of 20% * of whatever they raise, paid for as long as the group you refer continues to use our service.
Your extra 'referral payment' is paid quarterly alongside your normal easyfundraising payment and the number of referrals you can make is unlimited! Some groups raise more through referrals than from their own fundraising, so this is a simple way to raise extra funds.
We'll give you access to online reports so you can see how much extra you have raised from your referrals - (example)
* We pay the extra amount so the funds raised by the group you refer are unaffected, so everyone wins!
Do we need a website? No. It's preferable as this is the easiest way of informing your supporters about our service, but you could simply place an article in your next Newsletter quoting our website address.
Will it take up much time? No. Once set-up the service runs itself and requires virtually no administration.

Why is the service free? To provide the easyfundraising website and service we retain a proportion of the retailers payment when a transaction is made. However, if no purchases are made there's nothing for us to retain.
No inappropriate content policy We have no 'pop-up' advertising and strictly exclude merchants promoting tobacco or adult material.
