Some settings on your PC or laptop can affect the ability for us to track orders. However, this is easily rectified by following these instructions. Please contact us if you have any questions.
(1) Norton Internet Security
Norton has many useful features, but it also has a very aggressive advert blocking system. This can sometimes produce adverse affects and is why some web pages can appear to look strange with missing graphics or banners.
Norton can also affect the tracking of orders, so you need to turn off the "Ad-blocking" feature when you shop using easyfundraising otherwise tracking will not work with 95% of retailers.
To do this: -
1. Open Norton
2. click AD BLOCKING
3. TURN OFF (from the right-hand menu)
We are developing a system to remind you when Ad-blocking is left switched on, but for now you need to remember to turn off Ad-blocking.
If you do forget and the donation from your transaction does not appear in your easyfundraising account within 30 days, simply contact us and we'll request a manual donation from the retailer. You can see what Norton says about Ad-blocking by clicking here.
(2) Internet Browser & Firewall Settings
Whether you use IE (Internet Explorer), AOL, Firefox, Netscape or Zone Alarm, please check that your Internet Browser or Firewall settings are correctly set-up by following the instructions below, otherwise this may affect order tracking.
If you use any advert or pop-up blocking software this may also affect tracking. Please also ensure this is disabled when you shop using easyfundraising.
Internet Explorer 6 Users

4. move the SLIDER to "MEDIUM"
Internet Explorer 5 Users

4. select the Internet icon and move the slider to "MEDIUM LEVEL" or "LOWER"
To establish which version of Internet Explorer you have click "HELP" from the top menu bar, then "ABOUT"

5. tick the box "ALLOW SITE TO BE SET FOR COOKIES" (leave "FOR ORIGINATING WEBSITE ONLY" unchecked).

Zone Alarm Pro incorrectly sees our tracking as ADVERTISING. Turn off COOKIE CONTROL and AD BLOCKING.

3. move the "SLIDER" to the "OFF" position
