How does easyfundraising work?

easyfundraising turns the everyday online shopping of players, coaches, parents, and volunteers into free funds for your club. When they use the easyfundraising website or app to shop with leading brands, the brand shares a percentage of what they have spent with your club for free.

​Do players and parents need to visit the easyfundraising website before making a purchase?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We note their visit to the brand's website, then to say 'thank you' for your purchase the brand sends a percentage of what they have spent to your club. However, they can make things easy for themselves, by simply installing our Donation Reminder, which automatically detects when they visit a brand's site, so they don't have to remember to visit our website beforehand.

Which brands will donate to our club?

There are over 7,000 brands available to shop with, including Amazon, eBay, Argos, John Lewis, Trainline, Booking.com, ASOS, H&M, M&S, Tesco, Nike, Waitrose, Viking, and TUI. It means that no matter what your players and parents are buying online, from travel and holidays to fashion, homewares, insurance, and groceries - they can earn free donations for your club.

My club isn’t a charity – can we still use easyfundraising?

Yes – you don’t need to be a charity to use easyfundraising.

What details do I need to set up my club on easyfundraising?

To register your club with easyfundraising you will need to know:The name you would like your club to be known by on easyfundraising
- try to make this unique so that players and supporters know it's you The postcode - to help supporters when they search for causes local to themA description - this should include who you are and what you are raising forPayment details – easyfundraising can pay your donations by cheque or straight 
into your club's bank account so have your details ready There are also optional fields for: A logo - making your club unique and giving you an identityCharity number - if you have one You can come back to these optional fields later if you don't have the information to hand 
when you sign up.

We’ve registered, now how do we get started?

To get your fundraising off to the best possible start we offer a 1-2-1 session with one of our friendly fundraising coaches. It won't take long, and they will show you the best way to make easyfundraising work for your club with tailored tips, tools, and a guided tour of the platform.

Question 7

How often will we get paid?

Accepted Answer

Providing you have raised over £15, easyfundraising total up all the donations raised by everyone supporting your club every three months and send them to you by bank transfer or cheque. There is no charge for this. If your club hasn’t raised over £15 in the previous three months, the amount simply rolls into the next payment instead.
