easyfundraiser raises over £2000 for school

easyfundraiser Phil Battrick

easyfundraiser Phil Battrick is a fantastic example of how easy it is to raise funds with www.easyfundraising.org.uk. So far he’s raised over £2,000 for King’s Stanley Primary School , here’s how….

“I use easyfundraising to support my children’s primary school. I’m the MD of www.sitm.co.uk, we’re an IT support company that specialise in supporting SMEs so we need to purchase IT equipment on a regular basis.

Buying for business

“When I registered with easyfundraising, I quickly realised that by purchasing the things we need – servers, laptops, desktops, and all the associated peripherals – through retailers on easyfundraising, I could raise alot for the school.

“I purchase with a range of retailers – the choice on easyfundraising is excellent – but DELL is my preferred supplier and I’m now buying products from them that I would have normally bought elsewhere. It works well – they get more business from me as a result of their association with easyfundraising and my school gets much needed funds.

DELL offer up to 7.5% donation when I shop through easyfundraising, so it makes a significant difference to the school.

Over £2,000 raised

“So far I’ve raised over £2,100 for the school. To put that in context, the PTA would raise that amount from the annual summer fayre, which would take significant planning, and probably involve 30 volunteers on the day.  Obviously the Summer Fayre is more than just a fundraising event, but using easyfundraising is significantly less effort!

“I’ve now introduced easyfundraising to the basketball club I coach at, Stroud Sharks Basketball Club, and they’ve already raised over £300 in just over a month.

Free money

“What would I say to other fundraisers? Get registered with easyfundraising today and spend a little time looking at the huge range of suppliers that are available.  There’s bound to be a retailer relevant to you, and there will probably be one you already use.  It really is free money for your cause!

“It’s also a great way for employers to support good causes without it costing them a penny.”
