Yes, this year’s much awaited John Lewis festive ad is with us and we can officially start getting excited about Christmas. It’ll be hitting a TV screen near you this very evening but you don’t have to wait until then!
As well as getting us all Christmassy, the advert also has a very important message. By teaming up with national charity Age UK, John Lewis aim to raise awareness of the issues that can be faced by older people, especially at Christmas.
Over 1 million older people haven’t spoken to a friend, neighbour or family member for at least a month, and the ad highlights the importance of making sure no one has no one this Christmas.
