About our cause

The Air Cadet Organisation is the largest youth organisation in the UK with approximately 40,000 members. Open to all children aged between 13 and 18, our aims are: To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force. To provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life. To foster the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship 2473 Squadron has approx 50 teenagers on role.
