A Child Of Mine

The death of a child is commonly understood to be the most profound loss that anyone can experience, we should never outlive our children. Ours is also a society that does not talk about death and especially that of a child. Parents can be made to feel increasingly isolated through lack of support and information and they can also feel segregated by the community due to the stigma attached to such loss. Information, assistance and support are not freely available and what services do exist are geographically diverse. A Child Of Mine is a fully registered charity, 1152159. We provide an online resource centre offering help, advice and guidance for anyone affected by the death of a child. We offer a wealth of information from all the practicalities of losing a child to ideas on scattering ashes, together with a comprehensive list of support groups throughout the UK. Through our own experience, we want to offer as much information and guidance to help parents through the difficult days ahead and to help them feel that they are not alone.
