Baildon Trinity Athletic FC

Baildon Trinity Athletic's history has its origins as one of Bradfords most famous clubs of the 60's and 70's. The late Jack Rose, who played a big part in the Junior Floodlight League at Myra Shay, formed Trinity Athletic in 1965. 'We were most fortunate in gathering a strong committee who had played at most levels of local soccer. Norman Mattocks, Ray Lambert, George Hinsley, Ernest Smith, Gordon Turpin and Sidney Green were all well known on the local soccer scene at the time. Later Norman Butterfield joined the committee' Wrote Jack in a local press report. Trinity moved into Saturday afternoon soccer with success in the Red Triangle League and later the West Riding County Amateur League. These days we have two teams in the West Yorkshire Saturday League and have formed links with the Junior Club, Baildon Dynamos.
