In the summer of 2016 myself and fellow keele university students will be embarking on a month long charity project. We will be working in Tanzania at a local schools to help provide new desks as well as all important English lessons. However some of the children which go to these schools are special needs but are taught alongside mainstream children. One of our main aims is to help support and build new classrooms for these children so they get the right support. After many days helping at the schools we will be redirected to help with conservation work. We will be taking part in many activities such as seaweed planting and farming, litter walks along the beach, mangrove planting, building fuel efficient stoves and preparing local palm thatch for roofs. This is not a holiday for any of us and will require a great deal of physical and mental strength to complete as well as the necessary funds. In order for us to help with this project we need to raise £2000 to help us pay for flights, visas and the recourses we need while we are out there. Any donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated and will be used to help those in Tanzania.
