About World Scout Jamboree Japan 2015 - Bob Cornforth

In July 2015 I will be travelling to Kirara-hama, Japan, as part of the North-east contingent for the 23rd World Scout Jamboree. The theme of this jamboree is Wa meaning harmony, unity, friendship and peace. The Jamboree programme will be raising awareness of global issues such as peace, the environment and human rights. There will be a strong focus on disaster preparation and relief. While there I will be learning about the events of 1945 in Hiroshima and marking the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Japanese cities by visiting the Peace Memorial Park. I will also be working with local people, helping the community and providing opportunities for less fortunate Scouts. I need to raise £3300 over the next 12 months and I would much appreciate your help.

"There's quite a few sites similar to easyfundraising. But where this site stands out is it's helpful & quick replies to queries. It is so easy to set up an account & to start saving for a good cause - I've recommended easyfundraising to a lot of my friends, and they're as impressed as I am with the ease of how it works."

David - easyfundraising user

"I run a not for profit Community Interest Company and shared our cause. Very easy to use, templates ready to share on social media, with direct links to our page and pop up reminders installed for when I was shopping with numerous websites, where I could gain the free donation. Excellent service and a fabulous idea."
