About British Red Cross
The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We are part of a global network of volunteers, responding to natural disasters, conflicts and individual emergencies. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. And when a crisis is over, we help people to recover and move on with their lives. In local communities throughout the UK including here in London, the Red Cross is there. We provide life saving first aid training, care for people returning home from hospital when there is no one else to turn to, support refugees fleeing conflict and are ready to respond to emergencies 365 days a year.
