About Canada Hall
The funds raised will be used towards the redevelopment of Canada Hall. The hall has an interesting and unusual history in that it was built during WWII in 1943 by Royal Canadian Engineers as a replacement for our church. The hall is in need of refurbishment and extension to meet the demands of the growing village community of South Merstham. The plans include provision of a new kitchen, additional meeting room, new toilet facilities, a secure childrens outside play area and new entrance which will link it to the church. The project is going to cost £370,000 and this website is one of many activities which we are hoping will help us to generate this sum..
