About World Challenge - Overland 2017 - Caroline Orrell
In the summer of 2017 I will be travelling through South East Asia on an expedition, starting in Thailand, then moving across the boarder into Laos, followed by China and Vietnam. I will be heading deep into the jungles of Nam Ha to learn survival skills and trekking through the hills of China's Yunnan Provice or travelling into Vietnam's Hoang Lien Mountains to tackle the country's highest peak. I will then be throwing myself into educational infrastructure projects in rural Chinese schools, living with and working alongside the community to improve teaching and boarding facilities. Finally, I will be wandering through the mysterious Stone Forests of Kunming and distant shores of Ha Long Bay.
