The England U19s lacrosse team have entered the World Cup in July 2020, taking place in Ireland. The team are European champions having won the European U20 Cup in Prague in July ‘19. The costs of competing in these competitions are met solely by the parents/families of the players unlike other more mainstream sports. To get to the World Cup will cost approx £5.5k per player. This includes tournament and travel costs, training and a tour to the USA to practise against the current world champions
