A group of volunteers who are trained by West Midland Ambulance service to attend 999 calls. We are trained in life saving skills, use of a defibrillator and basic first aid. We attend both medical and trauma emergencies for both adults and Children. We are the first person on scene and preserve life until the paramedics arrive. Dunwood responding service rely solely on volunteers; who volunteer their time in responding and fundraising. We fundraise tirelessly for funds to purchase and maintain a responder vehicle and also life saving equipment. None of which is supplied by the Ambulance service.
