About Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust
HMWT is the only charity dedicated solely to protecting local wildlife and wild spaces, engaging our diverse communities through access to nature reserves, campaigning, volunteering and education. We manage over 43 nature reserves and campaign to save important wildlife habitats, volunteering programmes and wildlife education work. \"The Wildlife Trusts play a very important role in protecting our natural heritage - I would encourage anyone who cares about wildlife to join them\" Sir David Attenborough, Vice President of The Wildlife Trusts In Hertfordshire and Middlesex, we have over 19,000 members, 43 nature reserves totalling approximately 700 hectares and a challenging future! Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust is one of the 47 local Wildlife Trusts across the whole of the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney, working for an environment rich in wildlife for everyone.
