About Impact Family Services
IFS is the only voluntary sector organisation in NE England to offer such a diverse range of services for families in conflict and/or breakdown: It was established in 1981 by Judge Cohen with support from the probation service, to offer support to ex partners who were facing low level conflict and disagreement over arrangements for the children post them separating (family mediation).
