Bali 2022 - India Ellison

Hi, my names India and I am trying to raise money to fund my organised volunteering project in Tabanan, Bali. I will be working with children aged 1-8 years old, to help them build their social skills, understand the world and develop routines whilst teaching them basic English. Being able to speak English in Bali, significantly increases your future prospects. I will be working alongside colleagues to assist and organise activities for children from underprivileged backgrounds. The raised money will be spent on the programme itself (650 GBP), teaching resources due to the limited supply over in Bali, lesson planning, travel insurance, visas and the travel and flight costs to Denpasar. In Bali, affording high standards of education is hard for locals, so by volunteering I will be helping struggling families via childcare centres. This volunteering project will allow me to immerse myself into new cultures and traditions whilst learning how to help children in the most important first few years of life. Furthermore it will contribute towards the UN's sustainable development goal no. 4 - education consequently bettering the lives of young locals. My volunteering is set to commence the end of summer 2022, October and will last 6 to 8 weeks. Any support would be hugely appreciated by me and the young children in Bali I'm sure!! :)
