HELLO, my name is Katie Storey and I am hoping to participate in World Challenge in July 2016, to learn about foreign culture, but also help those in the developing area of Morocco. In the first meeting about World Challenge, I learnt that only 33% of people who went on a World Challenge expedition last year funded it themselves , so I have decided to be one of those who do. I believe that there is a lot to learn from the funding part of the trip, not just the trip itself. I believe that it will teach me to value money, and the way I spend it. I hope to not only improve my skills and myself as a person, but more importantly the lives of those living in the developing world.
