Vision 4 Families

Due to cuts we are trying to keep the office open so we can support the families that need help. Aim & Objectives Our aim is to work with families that require specialist support for vulnerable or high risk families affected by issues such as youth offending, substance misuse, resettlement of adult offenders, those displaying sexually harmful behaviours; gang affected youth, teenage pregnancy, early intervention, family law proceedings and domestic violence. Visions 4 Families adopts a solution focused approach to working with families experiencing intra-familial conflict. Our interventions seek to support families gain insight into the way they interact with each other and the correlation this may have with the difficulties they are experiencing. The objectives of our interventions are: Supporting families to identify their strengths and weaknesses Providing emotional support Assisting families to establish boundaries within their own family unit Support families to identify and understand each members role within the family Signposting to other specialist support services to meet their needs Target Group Our programmes have been used in a variety of environments, such as Woman's Refuge's, Fostering Agencies, Churches, schools, community settings, youth centres, Young Offenders Institutes, Bail Hostels and Prisons. Our two services, Vision 4 Families and Raising a New Generation with a Positive Empowerment (RANGWPE) for Young People are an integral part of Government policy to support families living in poverty and deprivation or risk of family breakdown.
