About Lancaster University Boat Club

We are the University's oldest sports club, established in 1964 at the inception of the University. Based in the converted Halton Railway Station on the River Lune, we have a 3 km stretch of well protected water shared with Lancaster John O'Gaunt Rowing Club, Lancaster Schools Rowing Association and Lancaster Royal Grammar School. We are a welcoming and friendly club catering for the student body of Lancaster University. With an ever expanding and improving fleet and a solid foundation of members we are also a club with growing ambition. Both our Men's and Women's squads take part in racing across the UK at a variety of different levels. We hope to continue to raise funds for the constant improvement of our boat club.
