I've dedicated my life to helping others, volunteering in care roles since the age of 16. I now need financial help to accept my offer at the University of Glasgow to study genetic and genomic counselling, leading to a career as a genetic counsellor. In this role, I will work within the NHS to explain complicated genetic test-results to patients and provide them with options to prevent or cope with a new genetic diagnosis. I will also contribute to important health-related genetic research.
