About World Challenge Morocco 2016 - Mia Williams
Hello my name is Mia Williams I am 13 years old and attend Winstanley Community College. I have signed up for a 2 week educational expedition to Morocco in North Africa, through a company called WORLD CHALLENGE. This will involve trekking to a local school and working on a community project. The project will involve working alongside people in the community to renovate a local school by helping build toilet facilities, that they do not have at present and therefore ¾ of the children do not attend school, by participating in this expedition I am hoping to give children less fortunate than myself a brighter future. This opportunity is a challenging expedition especially for me as I am a regular attender to LEICESTER GLENFIELD CHILDRENS HEART UNIT – (I have been passed by my consultant to participate). I have to raise 1,800 through fundraising to cover all my costs for the expedition.
